Central location in Somerset

The Williams Hall, with its central position in Somerset and easy access to the M5, provides an ideal venue for exhibitions and trade fairs. Recent events include an exhibition commemorating the sacrifices of local people in the Great War, and a day celebrating the variety and quality of local businesses. The latter event was able to make use of the grassed area for extra stalls and a marquee.

The hall has provided a base for the Village Fete and the annual Songs of Praise service, and also serves as registration point for the annual Stoke Stampede.

The Williams Hall is also well attended from a wide area for various talks and presentations. In particular, the Stoke Winter Lectures, attract a large audience.

The committee also organise other events, including a regular Village Breakfast. Anyone willing to take part in arranging these events should CONTACT us.
